• Upgrade the quality management system to the new requirements of ISO 9001 in its version 2015
• Get certified in environmental management with ISO 14001: 2015

Madrid, April 10, 2018. Adeslas Health and Adeslas SegurCaixa, a subsidiary responsible for managing the 27 Adeslas medical centers, have completed the verification process for the quality of its clinics with the renewal of the ISO 9001 certificate in its latest version, 2015. In addition, it has achieved certification in environmental management in accordance with the ISO 14001: 2015 standard. Both certifications reinforce SegurCaixa Adeslas' policy for corporate social responsibility, its vocation for customer service with the highest quality standards, and its commitment to preserving the environment.
The ISO 9001: 2015 is focused on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. It specifies the requirements for a top-quality management system that adds value to the products, services, and economic results of the companies to distinguish themselves from the competition. The achievement is part of the company's quality plan and its project to improve the customer experience; the main objective is to place the user at the center of all the decisions that are made. This is a very ambitious project for Adeslas, the leader in health insurance, that has a market share of 29% and the largest medical insurer in Spain.
The new environmental certification, ISO 14001: 2015, involves making the effectiveness of the service compatible with the preservation of the environment, establishing continuous improvement of environmental performance, preventing pollution, reducing waste, and rationally using natural resources throughout the provision of the service. Its objective is also to promote a greater degree of environmental awareness, responsibility, and awareness among its employees.
To facilitate and optimize compliance by all medical centers with the established requirements, an integrated management system has been created for both certifications, which are already held by the dental clinics of Adeslas.
Adeslas medical centers are attended by more than 1,400 health professionals. In 2017, the clinics served 364,650 clients and performed 2.3 million medical acts (3% more than the previous year), of which 194,000 corresponded to radiodiagnosis tests. The commitment to provide the best and most advanced services led the company to invest more than half a million Euros that year to incorporate new health technology in the centers.
The company's quality map is completed with the excellent results obtained by the satisfaction surveys carried out among users of medical centers. The score obtained was 8.8 in satisfaction (8.76 in the previous survey) and 8.8 in recommendation (compared to 8.75 previously).
