Nearly 300 company employees participated in the charity challenge 1KM = 1KG health and contributed donations.
More than 60,000 people will be able to receive healthy food with the effort made by the staff.

Madrid, December 20, 2017. SegurCaixa Adeslas has delivered to the Spanish Federation of Food Banks (Fesbal) a check for 20,000 Euros as a contribution to social work. The figure was collected thanks to the effort of nearly 300 company employees who had joined the solidarity challenge 1KM = 1KG.
The action is part of the SegurCaixa Adeslas corporate social responsibility policy to help Fesbal distribute healthy food to thousands of children and adolescents who are cared for daily in shelters by the associations that make up Fesbal, whose mandate is to distribute food to people who frequent social homes, nursing homes, and to needy families and individuals in soup kitchens.
The solidary challenge that the company had posed to its employees through the Health and Wellbeing platform has far exceeded expectations. The objective was to collect a kilo of food for each kilometer traveled and exceed 10,000 kilometers. It has been a complete success. The kilometers finally traveled were more than 20,000, which will become the equivalent in kilos of food and will allow 62,500 rations of food to be distributed among the needy people served by Fesbal.
Adeslas Salud y Bienestar is a service program for employees to improve the management of their health and life habits.
Fesbal is the Spanish Food Bank Federation whose mission is to provide daily food to more than 1.5 million of the neediest with the aid of its 3,300 volunteers.
