• The objective is to contribute to the development of the ecosystem of companies and organizations that work in the field of digital health
Madrid, December 11, 2019. SegurCaixa Adeslas has signed an agreement to form part of Barcelona Health Hub (BHH), a non-profit association aimed at developing the ecosystem of companies and organizations working in the field of digital health. The agreement will streamline the company's relationship with the companies participating in this project to anticipate market trends and identify opportunities in a rapidly evolving sector.
The agreement was signed this morning in the historic building of the Hospital de Santa Creu y San Manel, headquarters of the association. The event was attended by Luis Badrinas, CEO of Barcelona Health Hub, and Luis Iglesias, Deputy General Director of Personal Branches at SegurCaixa Adeslas. "Thanks to the collaboration between SegurCaixa Adeslas and BHH, we want to promote innovation in the sector by developing new digital health solutions and the practical application of these advances in the day-to-day care of people's health," said the manager of the insurer.
BHH was founded in 2018 to develop the digital health sector and facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing between startups, insurers, pharmaceuticals, universities, institutions, companies, and investors. In its first year of life, BHH has secured the involvement of 150 members, who now have been joined by SegurCaixa Adeslas.
Since 2018, the insurance company has been immersed in a Technological Transformation Plan. The plan includes five years of investments totaling 120 million Euros used to continue leading the market with an increasingly innovative and customer-focused model.
